The higher end is the feeding mouth of sand material and the lower end is the feeding mouth of heat-carrying agents. Of course, the situation that sand material and heat-carrying agent enter into the rotary drum toward same direction is allowable. Along with the rotation of drum, sand materials naturally move to the lower end under the gravity influence. During the moving process, sand materials receive the heat from heat-drying agents directly or indirectly.

The dried materials are discharged out at the discharging mouth through the belt or spiral conveyor. Inside the rotary drum, there are several lifting boards, which are able to widen the contacting surface between sand material and hot air and improve the drying efficiency. The so-called heat-drying agents are generally classified into hot air and flue gas, etc. When heat-carrying agents pass through the rotary drum, some sand materials are easy to be brought away. You should install a cyclone separator inside the sand dryer machine to collect such materials.
