GSL Group is made up of three seperate division's, Electrical, Mechanical, and Alternative Energy. All of our division's offer services for the Residential, Agricultural, Commercial, adn Industrial Markets. Our Mechanical Division's areas of work include, Commercial plumbing services, Industrial proess and power, piping systems, Hydraulic services, Ice blast cleaning services, Natural gas systems, Air systems (Threaded, Victaulic,Pressfit, Weld) Our Alternative Energy division's areas of work include, Manufacturing product for the solar PV industry, small scale and large scale solar PV installations, Methane gas cogeneration and Bio-mass cogeneration. Depending on the the project, our role has varied from Manufacturer to EPC to Installer. We manufacture solar PV raking fro various types of installations. These include StationaryGround Mount, Dual Axis Tracker, Stationary Pole Mount and Stationary Roof Mount. We also have developed packages for balance of system, that gives us an edge on the competition on insatllation. We are the exclusive Ontario and upper US manufacturer of the Mecasolar Tracker System. All of GSL's other systems are GSL's own design. GSL has been a leader in the Ontario Power Authority's Microfit Program. GSL has successfully developed, engineered, manufactured and installed over 2MW of Microfit systems. These systems are 10KW in size each and have been installed all across Ontario. The types of systems include Roof Mount, Dual Axis Trackers, and Starionary Ground Mount systems. GSL has participated in the installation of the largest Solar Farm in the World, developing in Sarnia, Ontario. This project is 80MW of thin film solar PV. It was developed on one site across 1600 acres. We also developed a 5MW Farm in Tilbury, Ontario and are currently installing a 20 MW system in Mooretown, Ontario. These are some of the largest farms being developed in Ontario. GSL typically completes the above and below ground electrical wiring, Solar PV installation, communication, high and low voltage distribution and commissioning. GSL has also participated in installation of several Methane co-generation facilities. These sites recover the Methane gas that is generated at the landfill site, pipe it into a facility that cleans it and burns it in catepillar engines, which generate electricity that can then be sold to the grid. Our work included equipment placement, electrical installation and mechanical piping. GSL offers a Bio-mass system which can be used to turn waste products or purpose grown crops into a Bio-mass boiler. These boilers can be used to heat a facility, or generate electricity.
