- Dr. Johan Enslin is a Vice President with Alpha Technologies and General Manager of the Alpha Energy division. Johan has combined a 26 year career with activity in industry and university across several continents. He served as an executive and consultant for private business operations and as a full-professor in electrical and electronic engineering. He managed groups and executed multiple projects for US and international clients in Renewable Energy, System Planning, Power Electronics and Power Quality integration. Previously he has been a VP for a large international consulting company (KEMA), director at power electronics manufacturing companies and a professor at several universities. He personally performed projects for more than 80 US, European, Asian and African utilities, governments and industries. He wrote and presented several technical reports and papers, including keynote addresses at international conferences. Dr. Enslin has authored and co-authored more that 250 technical journal and conference papers in the IEEE and other organizations.
